Ethics and theological education, an introduction to the ideas

Author: Graham Cheesman
Date: December 15th, 2011
Key Words: Ethics, discipleship, relationships, honesty

This paper outlines a structure for discussing the issue of ethics in theological education beyond the normal quality control discussions of plagiarism and human resources management. There are three main sections; ethics and the student’s life; ethics and the lecturer; and ethics in the working of the college as a Christian institution.  It originated in a lecture given to the Centre for theological education in Belfast in 2009.
