Women training In Protestant theological institutions: a critical appraisal of contextual challenges in Kerala, India

This thesis examines the secondary literature on women in theological education and feminist approaches to theological education.  It then presents the results of comprehensive primary research on the situation in Kerala. It identifies themes and issues, relates them to the secondary literature and comes to conclusions and recommendations for the future role of women and the necessary attitudinal, curriculum and practical changes.  This thesis was successfully presented to the Queens University Belfast for the award of PhD, in May 2008.
