The Future Has Arrived-Changing Theological Education in a Changed World

Aleshire describes the changing landscape in North American Christianity and the impact that is having on seminary training.  He concludes with three ways in which seminaries will need to change in the future.  They will need to do what they are doing now, but better.  They will need to provide training for a context of no faith and the plurality of faiths.  They will need to diversify educational practice.  This paper was presented to the Overseas Council All-Africa Institute for Excellence in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in May 2011.
