In this January 2010 document the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges provides guidance to governing boards of tertiary institutions through eight principles.
Although arising out of the changing higher education environment of North America, seminaries globally will find guidance as they review their governing procedures, policies, roles, relationships and responsibilities. The list of questions at the end of the document “will help boards and presidents determine whether to establish a process, to revise policies and procedures or to improve how they are implemented.”
