This is the ninth chapter in Excellence in Theological Education (published in English by Lanka Press and as an on-demand book by amazon.com. It also exists in Spanish, Portuguese and Amharic). This chapter describes what a library needs to be and how a school’s leadership can encourage the development of collection that is systematically collected according to a selection policy built on the mission statement of the library and the school. It will be organized and administered by trained personnel to be useful to both students and facilities. Libraries will increasingly take advantage of information available through information technology. Includes a brief bibliography and discussion questions.
