Faculty Selection: Credentials vs. Qualifications

Dr Enlow in this paper asks us to go beyond the concept of credentials to decide on new faculty appointments and consider also “qualifications”. He includes in that category, a contagious character, competence, communication ability, compatibility and the person’s contribution. In the last paragraph, he states “In the end, your faculty is your curriculum”.
